My 800 sq. foot 1947 bungalow has never had a decent floor and I am NOT trying to keep that tradition going but - new carpet (my fantasy update) eludes my budget and has for the year I've lived here since I purchased this, my first home, at age 56. The picture makes my floor look way better than it does in "person" and when I pass through this hallway from my bedroom (equally as bad with once white shag) every morning, if I look down, I am traumatized on a daily basis! I want need would love am begging for would cherish, etc. NEW CARPET!!!! Thanks for the opportunity to share my shame and I hope I win so bad.....Christmas at Gramma's would become a tradition instead of an obligation to my family and my Yorkie would also appreciate the view.
