Description

Jackson Smith of Oklahoma City River Cruise was declared a hero to all who were on the 7:45 River Romance tour on Valentines Day 2013. While we drifted through the Oklahoma City river a man on the tour announces he sees a dog on the outer bank of the river struggling to get out of the brisk water. Myself and another passenger quickly go and alert the captian of the struggle. he says "we will see what we can do" he then, paused the tour and being the loyal captain he was, turned the boat around. By this time everyone aboard is cheering for the dog to not loose his will to live and keep his head above water. The loud people aboard and the sound of the boat alarms the dog and he starts to take a lap around the boat. Jackson Smith, first mate and declared hero of the tour makes a leap to the rocky shore where we first spotted the dog trying to get out. the dog is urged by all the passengers to go towards jackson. the dog makes his way to the first mate and hero, Jackson Smith and that is where this video picks up. Jackson then, pulls the dog out of the water and we all cheer and are at a very calming relief knowing that we were able to partake in saving this dogs life. ---------- Forwarded message ----------From: Cara Prentiss <
